Excited to have just been contacted by the widow of actor James Best (known for his starring role as bumbling Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane in the CBS television series "The Dukes of Hazzard"), to produce some note cards of his artwork!

Just finished digitizing this "direct from life," 12 x 16 soft pastel, by Dana Morvant (Thibodaux, Louisiana), of the artist's mother, Sylvia Anna Lee Blanchard Portier, in a piece entitled: "Home at Last."

Now I'm going to create a portfolio proof print and--what I suspect will be--the most lovely note cards!

"Pineapple Fantasy" ... from 5 x 7 watercolor by Shep Templet of Thibodaux, Louisiana.

Producing boxes of 8 per note cards as Christmas gifts.

“Tiger Stadium” ... Louisiana State University Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Artist:  Cullen Diebold

This drawing was done for Cullen’s dad, who is a die-hard Tiger’s fan.
Original:  12 x 18 graphite on paper

Producing an 11 x 14 Fine Art Smooth Paper Print to be auctioned for a fundraising event.

The Artist:  The oldest of four children, Cullen Diebold was born on November 19, 1996.  At the age of four, he was diagnosed with Asperger's, a form of autism.  Rather than being a negative thing, this syndrome has actually turned out to be a gift that has opened doors for him that no one ever had imagined or anticipated.

God is the center of Cullen’s life.  He loves and adores his family and pets.  Although he has many talents and gifts, it wasn’t until his first year of Art in 9th grade at Vandebilt Catholic High School that anyone realized that drawing was one of those gifts.

The subject matter for his artworks reflect the things that he loves:  family members, supercars, parades, and animals.  Pencil is his preferred medium…partly because of his colorblindness.

Watch in awe to see what the future holds for this incredible young artist.
